We know that we gain weight when the energy IN is greater than the energy OUT.
To put it in simple terms: We gain weight when we eat too much and when we eat too much of the wrong things and do not use up the energy we have consumed - when we do not Move our bodies enough to consume what we have eaten.
It is not enough to just think of our bodies as a "bank account" with a series of deposits and withdrawls .... And some people are making large deposits.
